Liquid Restaking

Liquid Restaking is a blockchain mechanism that allows users to extend the utility of their staked assets by restaking them across multiple protocols while maintaining liquidity. Unlike traditional staking, where assets are locked and unusable until the staking period ends, liquid restaking enables users to earn rewards while simultaneously using Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) in decentralized finance (DeFi) applications such as lending, trading, and liquidity provisioning.
