The last two months have been nothing short of transformative for the Mitosis ecosystem. From launching the first Matrix vault to introducing on-chain governance through Morse DAO, February and March laid the groundwork for the next generation of community-powered DeFi.

Here’s everything that happened, and why it matters.

🧬 Matrix Goes Live: One Deposit. Triple Yield. Real Programmability.

The spotlight moment this cycle? The official launch of the Matrix Straddle Vault, our first working model of Programmable Liquidity.

Built with loyalty in mind, Matrix was designed for miweETH holders and long-term participants who wanted premium access to high-yield opportunities, without exiting the Mitosis economy.

🔑 Matrix Highlights:

• Triple Yield Streams: Earn $THEO rewards, Straddle funding rate yield, and MITO Points—all at once.
• Cross-Chain Allocation (Phase 2):
  • Ethereum: 1,400 miweETH
  • Arbitrum: 1,400 miweETH
  • Linea: 3,200 miweETH
• Composability Preserved: Expedition boosts and MITO rewards continue flowing while inside Matrix.

🎯 Launch Phases Recap:

• Phase 1 (Mar 13): Access for power users and early contributors
• Phase 2 (Mar 25): Opened to Platinum Expedition Tier, Game of MITO players, Morse NFT holders, Epoch depositors, and holders of 2+ miAssets.

Why it matters:
This is more than a vault. It's a programmable liquidity mechanism layered on a modular blockchain and a glimpse at how future DeFi will work: synergistic, efficient, user-aligned.

🗳️ Governance in Motion: Morse DAO Beta & First Token Burn

The evolution of community-owned governance is officially underway. The launch of the Morse DAO Proposal System (Beta) gave token holders real tools for shaping protocol direction.

📋 Proposal Flow:

1. Share ideas in the #morse-forum
2. Get community support (Pepe reacts ftw 🐸)
3. Committee review for feasibility
4. Snapshot vote
5. Funded & implemented if passed

💡 50 MORSE tokens were allocated for up to 10 proposals during the beta, a signal that the community treasury is officially open for ideas that build value.

• 2,223 MORSE (22.23% of total supply)
• 150-day burn with quadratic acceleration
• Vote results:
  • ✅ 63.36% Yes
  • ❌ 36.12% No
  • 🤷 0.52% Abstain

Why it matters:
This wasn’t just symbolic. The burn was proposed, discussed, and approved, showing that Mitosis DAO is more than votes, it's capital in action.

🧱 Community Frameworks: Simpler, Smarter, Human

Recognizing that real communities aren’t built on spreadsheets, the team rolled out updates to make roles and praise systems more organic.

🌀 Role Progression Overhaul:

• Sensei-led evaluations: Less gamification, more human judgment
• Clearer paths: From Gakusei to Daigakusei to Sensei
• Activity-based roles: Engagement > grind

🌸 Praise System 2.0:

• Praise still exists, but no longer grants MORSE directly
• Focus shifted to qualitative contributions and community values

These changes make the ecosystem less about farming points—and more about forming bonds.

🔒 OG Telegram: Quiet Power, Real Access

To reward long-time believers, the team opened a private MORSE Genesis Telegram group for the most committed community members.

Entry Requirements:

• Hold a MORSE NFT for 100+ days OR
• Own 3+ MORSE NFTs

This isn’t a hype chat—it’s a focused zone to share ideas with the team and shape what’s next.

🎙 AMA Vibes & Brand Reveal

In March, ~200 community members joined an AMA featuring Luke, Zach, Alice, John & Tex. Topics included:
