What Is the Mitosis Settlement Layer?

The Settlement Layer is the backbone of Mitosis. It’s what keeps everything in sync across chains,vaults, miAssets, rewards, and strategies. Position Tokenization That Vanilla Asset is used to mint an miAsset or maAsset, depending on the framework (EOL or Matrix) 3. Cross-Chain Activity Tracking All strategy interactions, yield generation, and vault movements are recorded and settled through the Settlement Layer. It tracks: -Deposits/withdrawals -Yield/losses -Protocol rewards -Token balance updates. 4. Final Settlement When you redeem, the system fetches the exact value of your position (with any accrued yield or loss) and processes it from the correct vault.
