Everything You Need to Know to Participate

How to Join:
Go to Mitosis Matrix Vaults — this is where the Zootosis campaign takes place.

Choose active Vaults on the supported chains:

  • Arbitrum
  • Kava
  • Mode
  • zkSync Era (as part of initial support)

What Assets You Can Deposit:
Stablecoins and base assets supported by each specific vault:
Examples: USDC, USDT, ETH (check each vault for details)

The entire process uses native liquidity — there’s no need to wrap or bridge assets manually.

Deposits:
Users deposit liquidity directly into the selected Matrix Vaults.
Deposits are automatically mobilized across chains through Mitosis' cross-chain layer.

Important: The liquidity is used to participate in incentive campaigns by partner protocols (e.g., Kava Rise, Mode).

Withdrawals:
Real yield means users earn actual rewards, not points.

Withdrawals are available according to the terms of each individual vault (the articles do not specify exact withdrawal timing, so users should check the vault conditions before depositing).

Key Features of the Program:

  • Zootosis runs across multiple chains at the same time — it's not just farming on a single network.
  • Users earn yield through active incentives from protocols and by providing liquidity that moves efficiently across chains.
  • The main difference from other campaigns: liquidity is not fragmented across separate ecosystems — it flows through the entire network via Mitosis.
Step Details
1. Choose a Vault Go to Mitosis Matrix Vaults. Select active vaults on Arbitrum, Kava, Mode, zkSync.
2. Prepare Assets Load your wallet with supported assets (USDC, USDT, ETH depending on the vault).
3. Deposit Provide liquidity directly into the vault — no bridges or wrapped tokens needed.
4. Earn Rewards Your liquidity powers partner protocols, and you earn real yield (not points).
5. Withdraw Funds Withdrawals depend on vault terms; check each vault’s conditions for timing.

Introducing Our Simplified Role Progression Framework

As promised in our previous announcement, we're excited to share details about our revamped role progression system. This new framework is designed to create a more straightforward, fair, and transparent path for community members to grow and be recognized for their contributions.

A Simplified, Holistic Approach

Our previous system relied heavily on automated Praise metrics, which unfortunately became susceptible to gaming. The new framework takes a more streamlined approach to evaluate genuine community impact:

Key Features of the New Framework

  1. Sensei-Led Evaluations: Senseis will now play a central role in the promotion process, reviewing contributions holistically rather than relying on complex quantitative metrics.
  2. Qualitative Praise Analysis: While Praise is no longer directly tied to progression, the quality and context of Praise will be considered in promotion decisions.

Progression Paths

The new framework maintains our existing role structure with simplified progression criteria:

Community-Wide Behavior Expectations

For all roles, we maintain strict expectations regarding community conduct:

  • Inappropriate behavior (such as offensive language, promoting violence, harassment, etc.) will result in demotion or removal of roles
  • Extended inactivity may result in role adjustments

Gakusei (学生) - The Learner

  • No changes to current requirements
  • Senseis can unilaterally assign the Gakusei role when they deem it appropriate

Daigakusei (大学生) - The Contributor

  • Updated Process: We'll summarize the praise contributions and create a Sensei poll in the ⁠Нет доступа for potential Daigakusei promotions on a bi-weekly basis. Senseis can view our Praise summaries as well as the raw data itself to come to a decision.
  • Activity Requirement: Inactivity for 2 weeks as a Daigakusei will result in demotion to Gakusei.

Sensei (先生) - The Master

  • Time Requirement: Maintain an active Daigakusei role for at least 2 weeks
  • Selection Process:
    • Nominations created and reviewed by existing Senseis on a bi-weekly basis
    • Final selection through voting process requiring 75% approval threshold

Emeritus Sensei Status

The Emeritus Sensei status remains available for those who have previously served as Senseis but are unable to maintain the active engagement required. This status recognizes past contributions while ensuring the Sensei role reflects current, active leadership.

Implementation Timeline

  • March 31st: First period of evaluations under the new system (for period of March 1st through March 15th)

We believe this revamped approach will create a more genuine, rewarding experience for everyone in our community. It recognizes that meaningful contributions come in many forms and encourages authentic engagement rather than metric-focused behavior.

Introducing Mitosis University

We're excited to announce Mitosis University (https://university.mitosis.org), a community-led initiative that embodies our core belief in peer-to-peer learning and collaborative knowledge sharing. Just as Mitosis pioneered Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity in DeFi, Mitosis University champions ecosystem-supplied education, where community members are both students and teachers, Gakuseis and Senseis, sharing their knowledge of the Mitosis protocol.

*Reviews are handled by admin based on criteria, so it can take some time. Also, if it doesn't meet the criteria, it may not be accepted.
