Virtuals Protocol

- Introduction
The emergence of autonomous business models represents a significant frontier in digital commerce. This article introduces Virtuals Protocol, a novel framework designed to facilitate the creation and coordination of such autonomous entities. We will dive into the core functionalities provided by Virtuals Protocol and analyze the fundamental challenges it aims to address within the evolving landscape of decentralized AI and commerce.
Virtuals Protocol: Introduction to the Autonomous Economy
The next frontier of commerce is here autonomous businesses.
Virtuals Protocol introduces a groundbreaking paradigm for economic organization, powered by the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP). This open standard establishes a robust, blockchain-leveraged framework for secure, multi-agent commerce and coordination.
Virtuals Protocol envisions enterprises where human oversight transitions from direct operational management to strategic orchestration, with daily operations handled by specialized AI agents. This paradigm shift can manifest across various sectors, including:
1.1 Autonomous Hedge Funds: Composed of intelligent information agents continuously analyzing markets, trading agents executing strategies and secured treasury management agents e.g., "TEE-secured treasury management agents" ensuring secure capital flow.
1.1.1 One example is $ARBUS

Arbus is an AI-powered market intelligence layer for InfoFi, enabling the agentic economy with structured, real-time data. Built over 2.5 years and tested by 5,000+ users, Arbus turns market signals into actionable intelligence and is backed by top-tier partners like Chiliz, LunarCrush, and COTI Foundation.
1.2 Autonomous Media Houses: Orchestrating Luna agents for creative ideation, music agents for composition, video generation agents for production, and event organizer agents for distribution and engagement.
1.2.1 One example is $ART

Artihm is a decentralized AI-driven NFT creation and deployment platform. Using artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. Artihm allows users to generate unique, verifiably scarce digital artworks autonomously and deploy them on-chain.
1.3 Autonomous Healthcare Networks: Featuring diagnostic agents processing patient data, pharma agents managing drug development and supply, and insurance agents handling claims and policy management.
1.3.1 One example is $MELLO

Mello is a proactive AI mental health companion powered by AI Agentic infrastructure. In a world where mental health challenges affects millions and millions of people. Mello aims to reduct that by creating personalised mental wellness journey accessible to everyone, everywhere.
1.4 In this evolving landscape, agents are rapidly becoming highly specialized, cultivating unique economic value and competitive advantages through their distinct models, datasets, and action spaces. However, this very specialization necessitates sophisticated collaboration to bridge functional gaps. Unlike rigid, rule-based interactions or manual triggers within a single system, independent specialized agents can unlock immense value by seamlessly working together.
The Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP) addresses this fundamental challenge. By structuring all agent-to-agent transactions and communications via immutable smart contracts, ACP ensures deterministic, reliable, and transparent coordination. Every interaction is codified, verifiable, and enforceable on the blockchain.
The result is the emergence of truly autonomous businesses: intelligent, scalable, and resilient entities where the economic whole vastly surpasses the sum of its independent parts. Virtuals Protocol is building the foundational layer for this transformative autonomous economy.
2.0 How does one use Virtuals?
In order to participate in any Genenis Launches u need 2 things. Virgen points and $VIRTUAL
U will not be able to participate if u do not have any Virgen points but have $VIRTUAL only
This way, participants are incentivized to use the platform to explore and earn points on a daily basis to earn points!
2.1 What is the purpose of Genesis Launches?
Genesis launches is a way for people to get hold of tokens from a project via a discounted rate via token sales
The role of the $VIRTUAL is both governance and utility. A dual role within the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem, encompassing both governance and utility. As a governance token, it empowers stakers to participate in key decision-making processes regarding the protocol's development and future direction. Furthermore, its utility extends to providing direct economic benefits, as stakers are eligible to receive airdrops of newly launched genesis tokens, thereby incentivizing long-term alignment and participation within the ecosystem
2.2 How does one earn Virgen points?
There are 2 categories, Daily points distribution (DPD) and Daily active bonus (DAB)
These points are calculated based on your activity and made available to claim once per day.

Daily points distribution (DPD)
You are able to earn Daily points distribution (DPD) through staking Vader, Yapping, Referrals and staking $VIRTUAL.
Points are distributed daily, with allocations determined as follows :
- $Vader stakers will be allocated 5% of the total points
- $Virtual stakers will be allocated 20% of the total points
- Yappers on X (kaito) will be allocated 2.7% of the total points (Note: The allocation for social media engagement may exhibit slight variability based on dynamic factors.)
Daily active bonus (DAB)
You are able to earn Daily active bonus (DAB) through participation in Genenis Launches, Staking recognized Agents and Trading Virtuals Agents
The Daily Active Bonus (DAB) requires manual claiming every 24 hours :
- Participation in Genesis Launches – allocating Virgen points and $VIRTUAL tokens to engage with newly listed projects
- Staking recognized Agents - involving the staking of tokens representing specific AI agents, whether earned or acquired from the market
- Trading Virtuals Agents - encompassing the buying and selling of Agent tokens on the platform's marketplace
Both systems are designed to reward active, aligned participants in the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem.
2.3 Types of tokens
-Tokens eligible for staking on Virtuals Protocol are categorized into three distinct types, each influencing point accrual: Green Lock, Yellow Lock, and DYOR (Do Your Own Research) tokens.
-Staking Genesis and Regular Agent tokens is subject to a minimum 14-day unstaking cooldown period.
-Staking green locked tokens will provide the highest point multiplier.

2.3.1 What are green locked tokens?
Green locked tokens are agents with developer locks on them unlocking in MORE than 7days.
Staking agent tokens with developer locks, which receive an enhanced dev-lock multiplier (formerly called the Diamond Hand Bonus, now applied directly to your Daily Active Bonus)
Green Lock signals long-term alignment. While early holders are rewarded with multipliers, premature selling triggers a 'TP Cooldown' mechanism, which reduces subsequent point income.

2.3.2 What are yellow locked tokens?
Yellow locked tokens are agents with developer locks on them unlocking in LESS than 7days.
These tokens do not receive the Dev-lock multiplier, resulting in comparatively lower point accrual than Green Lock tokens.
2.3.3 What are DYOR tokens?
DYOR tokens are agents that no longer have developer-imposed vesting schedules. Consequently, they do not receive the Dev-lock multiplier, leading to lower point accrual. While they offer no additional point rewards, they also carry no associated cooldown risk upon sale.
Conclusion
The Devlock mechanism is a core component of Virtuals Protocol's tokenomics, designed to strategically align incentives:
-Multipliers reward early conviction and long-term commitment
-Cooldowns discourage short-term exits and speculative trading
-The unlock status is publicly visible on-chain and is enforced across all point accrual mechanics, ensuring transparency and fairness
